Lonely, widowed, war veteran receives 700 birthday cards from strangers
A lonely RAF veteran living in an elderly care range in West Yorkshire, UK, has received hundreds of birthday cards after nursing home faculty asked members of the national to make his birthday special.
Widowman, Gob Annall, is on the cusp of his 101st birthday. However, atomic number 2 will not be able to receive a visit from his daughter, who currently lives in Australia, imputable on-going COVID-19 restrictions.

Jack's 101st birthday happening August 19 is now looking to embody a star-studded affair with appearances from members of the local air force and the local mayor. Celebrations are and then set to culminate with a brass band.
